Christmas and New year Celebration.
A blood centre was started in our Thrikkakara Municipal Cooperative Hospital under the leadership of the Rotary Club of Cochin Technopolis with CSR funding from NEST GROUP OF COMPANY and MSP RETAILS GROUPS. Rotarian Dr. G N Ramesh (Rotary District Governor), Dr. N Jahangir (Chairman & Managing Director NeST Group of Companies), and Mr. Sarath Krishnan (Chairman MSP RETAILS GROUPS) jointly inaugurated the event. Hospital President Dr. M P Sukumaran Nair presided over the function. The main activities of the bank are blood collection, blood testing, blood preservation, blood distribution, separation of blood components, promotion of blood donation, blood conservation and reporting, and quality control. The hospital aims to provide facilities for distributing blood to the public at low cost.
Our hospital successfully conducted a Pulse Polio Vaccination Drive as part of the national initiative to eradicate polio. Families from across the community brought their children under five years of age to receive the vital drops. The event saw active participation from healthcare staff and volunteers, reaffirming our commitment to building a healthier, polio-free future.

Thrikkakkara Municipal Co-Operative Hospital has taken a significant step forward in enhancing diagnostic services by inaugurating its new CT Scan facility at the Department of Radiology.
